Greetings friends! Today we’re excited to share with you a new project: @yankeecaliforniasoundhotel is a music collective, production house and record label in Los Angeles. But first and foremost, it is a fake hotel. It was built by @cgcarey and @chrissysandman and is now open for bizness. Today, we are thrilled to share the collective’s first release: the debut EP from @anguidanguid aka @aidannboardman aka one of our oldest and truest musical companions. You know him from @dreamtagram, you’ve heard him play bass with @summerunderground on tour and on record. Anguid’s EP is beautiful but we’re a bit biased - Grant co-produced and mixed it & Chrissy sings on it - so go check it out for yerself!

Back at Valley View studios in Ligonier, PA we found the old white board from the More than a Friend, Less Than a Lover sessions two years ago. Bout to erase and fill up with new tunes.
Outta New York and into the basement. Today, we returned to the Pittsburgh basement where we recorded much of our early music to start working on songs for our fourth (wow!) full-length record.
